The second phase of our adventure heading south during a pandemic begins tomorrow. We have a reservation in Georgetown South Carolina for Thursday and Friday at Harborwalk marina. Friday is forecast to be cold, windy and rainy. Left a day later than we might have because the marina in Charleston is exposed to weather. We have a reservation for Charleston for Saturday.
Takes a while to get back into monitoring the weather and making reservations an appropriate time in advance. Tomorrow's journey will be about 30 miles and Saturday will be about 60 miles.
We have enjoyed our stay here at Osprey Marina. The fresh water has been good for the boat and it is very protected from weather. We returned the rental car yesterday and rode our folding bikes back from the airport. The marina here is remote from stores and restaurants.

The folding bikes (Bromptons) work really well but 10 + miles after not having ridden for a while wasn't easy |
We are starting to think about going across Florida thru Lake Okeechobee to Fort Myers and down the Gulf to Key West. Looks like we have the time to make it work and avoid the craziness of Ft Lauderdale and Miami.
