We arrived at Saint James Marina at 11:30 after a short leisurely ride down the ICW. Very protected Marina, we are located on a t-head. There is no power as a result of hurricane damage earlier in the year. The restaurant and grocery store on site are closed due to a fire about a year ago.
We dropped the dinghy to drive North to Southport and enjoyed a great dockside dining experience at The Provision Company. It was fun to pull the dinghy right up to their docks and go in. We would like to go biking today but so far the weather has not cooperated. We are hoping to take the dinghy back out for a late lunch.
St James Plantation is a very large gated community with several golf courses and beautiful homes, all different. We took a long walk with Parker last night and really enjoyed looking at the homes.
Rosemary has been doing wash all day and we have made the car rental reserrvation to pick up a car in Myrtle Beach and drop off in Rehoboth Delaware. WiFi has been spotty and it is making it difficult to update the blog.
