sunrise St Augustine |
3/3/2021 Wednesday
We had thunderstorms starting around 4:00 AM and woke to threatening skies. With this weather, we were not in a big rush to leave. Once we left we had a very slow trip to St. Augustine. We were in no wake or slow speed, minimum wake for a lot of the trip. We saw rocks on both sides of the creek South of Palm Coast which makes you wonder what is underneath the boat. We did see some dolphins, two that swam in our very slow wake for a bit.

Conch House Marina |
It is still windy and our boat rocked quite a bit in our slip until maybe 10:00 PM when the wind died down. We were walking down our dock when Sandy noticed a boat from Indian River Marina, home port of Lewes. This was on A dock (our dock) at our marina! Boat name "Reel Tease". Carl and his wife came over and chatted with us, telling us when he got there and what their plans were, and we explained our plans to them.

Many beautiful homes on this stretch of the ICW |
More take out for dinner and Carl helped us off in the morning. On the way to Fernandina Beach for a few days as more weather is coming in.
Wow a small world. Fun to catch up with other boater friends. The homes look beautiful! The sunrise is beautiful as well!
