30 miles today, 1/13/2020. Short trip to position for long day tomorrow to Brunswick Georgia where we have to be concerned about tides. Should be set up well for an early departure.

Passed beautiful homes around the Isle of Hope. We are constantly seeing dolphins. Overcast with light winds. very comfortable easy ride today. Kilkenney Marina is very rustic, we were aware of that when we booked it. Floating docks are homemade with blue 55 gallon drums for flotation. Restaurant close by, surprisingly high end and expensive. Nothing else around here, we like the vibe. No wifi and we won't be using the showers or rest rooms here. Neither would you, unless it was an emergency.

Really nice people that own the place here. Very helpful and accommodating. Popular with fishermen. Strong current and tidal change here as well. Haven't seen the sun all day. Working on creating routes and planning the rest of the trip. We booked St Augustine for Sunday night, 17 of January. We calculated stops and timing for crossing Lake Okeechobee and that is looking like the way we will proceed.
