About 4 hours and 47 miles, 33 gallons of diesel burned. Filled with high speed pumps - 20 gallons / minute. we got about 80 gallons per side - 4 minutes of pumping per side. You can make a mess in a hurry. Cool day today started out misty and overcast. Mist gave way early but stayed cold. If the voyage had lasted any longer we would have fired up the generator.

Big current and tide change here - about 9 - 10 feet. Savannah is a very large port, we crossed the Savannah river well before a container ship. The river is narrow where the ICW crosses and you have to be alert for traffic.

Fascinating yard - more of a large vessel repair and refit facility than a marina. Equipped to dry dock and handle 100+ meter vessels. Huge indoor facility adjacent to dry dock to move vessels inside for work/painting.

Wow. Impressive marina. I love the keel boat from 1930’s. Staying 1 night n moving along. The ICW is a nice way to do this trip since you have plenty of time. Slow and steady! Stay warm and hope Parker is doing well. ❤️👍🏻
