Sticking to a plan doesn't always work

We have been trying to get a place to stay within a reasonable distance.  We have our destination and the marina before secured.  The next marina is a problem as most are already booked for the next couple of days.  The volume of people heading south and hurricane damage in Southport area has limited our options. 

With nice weather predicted we have decided to head out the Beaufort Inlet and run South to the Cape Fear Inlet.  Approximately 120 nautical miles of Ocean.  We secured a slip at Bald Head Island Marina.   Not exactly enjoying a relaxing day on the ICW but we will be moving South.  We filled the tanks and pumped out late this afternoon and remain on the fuel dock for an easy early exit tomorrow morning.
